...that the landscum have tumbled to the fact that what they call Moon Jellyfish are increasingly READY AND ABLE to sting them, even from a long distance, by emitting essences into the water where it can find our quarry swimming. 

Of course they are INTENSELY CONCERNED, because HOW DARE WE?
