THE MERMAID: LAKE OF THE DEAD

This delightfully piscatorial film was released in 2018 and is the brainchild of Svyatoslav Podgaevsky and (later on, I assume?) Christopher Bevins.  It stars Viktoriya Agalakova as Marina, Efim Ptrunin as Roma and Sofya Sidlovskaya as Lisa.

DID I EVER LOVE THIS ONE, FOR SO MANY REASONS!

CLIFFIE'S NOTES ON THIS ABSOLUTE WINNER OF A MOVIE:

>> Above all, this story is an exploration into how mermaid legends form in the minds of the humans we mean to recruit.

>> It acts as a solid primer on how to use that Shaved Monkey thinking, those Shaved Monkey archetypes, to approach, recruit and CLOSE THE DEAL.  It will help all new recruiters to convert THEIR ranks into members of OUR ranks.

>> It's a very WET movie that starts out in a swimming pool, proceeds to a lake and ends in a flooded basement during a heavy rain.  You have to like that.

>> It focuses, as all these horror movies do, on young adults, some of our very best recruiting material, simply because as a group they are UP FOR ANYTHING.  Think of all the online support groups they have now for people who feel they are part elf or turning slowly into dragons, aside from the WILD PROFUSION of social, political and religious beliefs they try on for size.  WHY NOT US, YOU ASK?

>> Strangely, the recruiter in this movie ISN'T EVEN ONE OF US, but boy, is she ever effective in her role.  Look at the effortless way she brings Ilya (Nikita Elenev) under her influence, using the BEST LURE OF ALL: love.

Ladies, I want you to study this film and learn everything you can from it.  We will be discussing it at the monthly chapter meetings.  DON'T REACH FOR YOUR WALLETS!  I saw it for free on YouTube!
