...THESE LITTLE LADIES!  It really doesn't make sense to post any particular photo of any particular Marmorkrebs or Marbled Crayfish, and in THIS TRIUMPHANT CASE, NO SUBTERFUGE OR DISGUISE IS NEEDED ANYWAY! 

 

Let me tell you the story, it's fantastic!

 

ONCE UPON A TIME a member of our ranks discovered that she was able to CLONE HERSELF, reproducing without needing to MATE.  In effect she was able to easily create an all-female ARMY of operatives who easily talked a Belgian citizen, WHO SHALL BE RESPECTFULLY KEPT NAMELESS, into releasing them into a canal to GO FORTH AND MULTIPLY. 

 

THEY DID JUST THAT.  The featherless-biped news is talking about how these exoskeletal ladies have taken over a CEMETERY (presumably one with a POND), but they appear not to have remembered HOW THEY GOT THERE.  Europe has been ours for SOME TIME of course, but BELIGIUM BELONGS TO THE CRAWDADS.

 

This is one of those satisfying little moments.  AND WE DON'T EVEN HAVE TO KEEP THIS ONE SECRET FROM THE NAKED APES.  THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT.
